Wow I haven't updated in years! I'm going to be a volunteer at NY Fashion week (9/4-9/9)! Who's going to be there??

Justin and I moved in together in July.

Life is going well.

Update on pictures later. Life has been so hectic.

So apparently I deserve an award for "Outstanding Freshman - Fashion Design" award. AND a $500 Houston Area Fiber Arts award.

HAHA yey. Wish I would've gotten the London Scholarship.. darn.

WOOHOOO NOW I CAN PAY FOR CLASSES!

I've been working on some dresses for the Dallas Career Day competition.. here's one of them..

It was amazing.  I loved being apart of Ground Crew.  Saw all the top models... Gemma Ward's face is skinnier than in her photos.  But it is all good.  International models are craaaazy.  The rush was great. 

I am officially apart of the Ground Crew and hopefully they will call me when New York Fashion week comes up.  They said that they wouldn't pay for the trip but we would get paid for working the show!  I CAN'T WAIT!

Models are actually pretty nice.. well mine wasn't but there is hope!  Trisha Goff is a very very nice model who was freaking out about having to leave on a plane at 8am bc she promised her son she was picking him up for school.. So there are those nice models out there!

I found my nitch.  I LOVE FASHION.

IM GOING TO FASHION WEEK LIVE!!!  I WILL BE BACK STAGE AS A PAID DRESSER WHAT WHAT??????

Hopefully I can do that as a profession.  AHHHHH I love fashion!

I will meet Zac Posen and shake his hand.  And have pictures of my designs haha.

March 8, 2007 - Houston Fashion Week Live

My dress was on Great Day Houston Wed. Jan 24!  I was picked favorite dress by Naomi Campbell and the host of the show.  Actually my brother counted and I got 3 compliments from Naomi within the 15 minutes my dress was on the show :-)

One step closer to being famous I tell you.

I LOVE MY NEW JOB!! I mean ya, i'm a secretary.. but shit.. I kinda like it.

I started yesturday.  Busy work is great.  Not to mention...  PAYS MORE DUCKETTTTSSSS..

The project was to make a window display with a couture theme.

Last night I had my first chance to run the back of a fashion show. It was so hectic but fun ass hellllll!!! I loved ever minute of it.. New Years eve next on the list. I'll post pictures later.

The girls that were wearing my dresses did a great job!

My mom was being such a proud mom!! Yey.

3 of my dresses will be in a UH Fashion show. Nov. 12, 2006.

I sold another dress today.. It actually was the worst dress i've ever made! I personally hated it but I had a customer request and well.. its gone.. sold it for $74 ducketts! :-)

I kinda like this project. I love projects.

Woohoo I sold my 3rd dress today. $138 ducketts! Not to mention I got a $30.00 tip out of it. I am rolling in the dough. But not. WOOHOOT.

We've lost touch over the years. You were a really great and fun person to be around. I always thought you were ment to be with A. Our spring break planning was so stressful but one of the best i've ever had. We had fun in class and prom. I wish we would've kept touch. I was looking forward to seeing you at the 10 year.

Yey we got good press. Yey my dress is in the write-up!

I WILL be famous one day.. one day.. Ok maybe famous in my moms eyes.

Hillary Duff's mom came in the store today. She bought a shirt I made and said her daughter would probably wear the shirt in one of her concerts. Yey!!!

She also said she would bring her daughters in next time they are in town..

Now I must try my "stylist" title with her if she ever comes in.

The mother said she would try to email me a picture of her in it. So hopefully that happens!!!

I will post if she sends me an email.

Dallas market was awesome. Now I am getting my name out.
